I can not tell you
how different trying to play on the tour is compared
to just playing at home. There has
been a number of things you learn really fast.
Below are just a few
things:
1. You will
need a computer to signup for the events, check tee
times, rules, and proposed course distance.
2. You have
to learn where to stay and ask for your special
rate.
3. You
then find out that the course you are qualifying on
is not the course you will be playing for the event,
which could be up to two hours away from where you
are qualifying. Then you have to check
out of your hotel and find one closer.
4. You don't
know how many places will make the cut until the
night before.
5. Some
courses during your qualifying you find out have no
drinking water on the course. Now you have to
carry enough with you.
This experience of
my dream has been very exciting and a great learning
experience and not regretted. Over the past
months I have learned allot of secrets and thing
that I needed to improve on.
I am very excited
and look forward to my next tournaments and hope now
to break through and make a strong showing. |
